a man offering grapes to a bird on his
arm and two girls masquerading,
scattered flowers, gilt laub-undbandelwerk

dot mark in underglaze-blue, in fitted red
leather travelling case.
A German matched Tea Service,
18th Century, comprising: a Meissen
globular Teapot and Cover, painted with
an allegorical scene of ‘Fortuna’ rescuing
a child from falling into a well, the
reverse painted with a young boy in an
apple tree looking at a bearded figure
below holding a paper scroll, chips and
repair to cover, 10cm.; 4in., crossed swords
mark in underglaze-blue, also a Meissen
Fable subject Saucer, painted with the
Fox and the Stork, after Fontaine, and two
matching German Fable subject Cups
and a Saucer, some wear and chips.
A Meissen Comport Base, 2nd half 19th Century, modelled as a gallant and companion in 18th Century costume standing about a flower encrusted and leaf moulded column, raised on a
high scroll moulded spreading circular base, chips, 35cm.; l33Ain., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed and incised numerals.
A Meissen Cup, Cover and Stand, late 19th Century, each piece painted and encrusted with flowers in high relief, entwined branch handle, chips, 12cm.; 43Ain., crossed swords

A large German porcelain ovoid footed Vase, 19th Century, the bright yellow ground reserved with well painted gilt framed panels of flowers and lovers in landscape, the main
panel depicting three ladies and a male companion beneath trees close to a classical fountain, 37.5cm.; 143Ain. high, feint cancelled crossed swords in underglaze-blue, painted
indistinct numerals.
A Meissen porcelain Tete-a-Tete, 2nd quarter 19th Century, each piece finely painted with panels of rustic or military figures in landscape, within gilt scroll borders reserved
against a deep blue ground decorated with elaborate gilding, comprising: Coffee Pot and Cover, Cream Jug, Tray and two Cups and Saucers, some damage and repair, crossed swords
