    Antique Porcelain: Royal Crown Derby, Staffordshire, Royal Worcester, Bohemian, Royal Doulton Porcelain, Ceramics and Pottery

    A SILVER-GILT MOUNTED GLASS INKWELL, LINER AND BOX, French, circa 1890, the square form with rounded shoulders and hobnail-cut base, mounted with two silver-gilt pierced scroll bands connected on the front and reverse by a winged female and each side with an elaborate swan-necked Aeolian harp, the neck with stamped silver-gilt hinged cover and small cylindrical liner, the silver excite French touch marks, 10cm.; 4in. high.

    A GLASS DECANTER, Dutch, late 18th Century, the bulbous body applied with vertical pinched ribs over gilt vermicular ground, the tall cylindrical neck similarly decorated between applied loop handles, 25cm.; 9-in., some gilt rubbing, part of one rib lackin.

    A PAIR OF BLUE OVERLAY GLASS
    VASES, Bohemian, circa 1860, each of
    slender baluster form, cut with elongated
    arched panels and quatrefoil windows, gilt
    rims, 28.5cm.; some gilt rubbing.

    A ‘POMEGRANATE’ TWO-
    HANDLED VASE, Moorcroft, circa 1935,
    tube-lined with a broad frieze in rich colours against a deep blue ground, impressed MOORCROFT, MADE IN ENGLAND and signed in blue WM, 12cm.; 4in  .

    TWO LIBERTY & CO. ‘FLAMMINIAN’ VASES, Moorcroft, circa
    1903-1913, each mallet form body with tall
    neck, decorated with three stylised foliate
    roundels, on a red ground, each with incised
    signature, W Moorcroft and printed Liberty mark,
    26cm.; 10in., chip to rim of one (2) .

    A TWO-HANDLED VASE, Royal Worcester, 1912, the slender ovoid body
    painted by Harry Davis, signed, with three
    sheep in a landscape, set with gilt loop
    handles raised on a square base, puce printed
    marks, shape 2063, 23cm.; 9in., damaged.

    A LARGE GLAZED EARTHENWARE
    PLAQUE, Burma tofts, late 19th Century,
    of circular form, moulded in relief with a pair of doves perched amongst blossoming branches, all covered in a dusky pink glaze. impressed BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE, 61cm.; 2in. diam., very minor rim chips  .

    A PAIR OF OVOID VASES, Royal Crown Derby, circa 1893, each gilt with flower sprays on a pale lemon ground, gilt rims, orange printed marks, 18cm.; 7in., minor hair crash to neck (2).

    A LARGE MAJOLICA JARDINIERE AND MATCHED STAND, probably Staffordshire, late 19th Century, the Jardiniere moulded with foliate scrolls picked out in green and yellow against a deep blue ground, the pedestal moulded with acanthus and glazed in brown and yellow, 110cm.; 43in., minor damage (2).

    AN EARTHENWARE SPILL VASE GROUP, Staffordshire, mid-19th Century, modelled as ‘Rachel and Companion at the Well’, raised on an oval rocky mound base, 33cm.; 13in., minor chips; also an equestrian Figure of William I, King of Prussia

    AN EQUESTRIAN FIGURE OF COLONEL PEARD, Staffordshire, circa 1864, seated on a horse facing left in plumed hat, tunic, breeches and knee boots, the oval base titled ‘C. Peard’ in raised capitals, 26cm.; 10in.; also three equestrian Groups; and a large Pair of Spaniels (6).

    A PAIR OF EARTHENWARE FIGURES OF MILTON AND SHAKES¬PEARE, Staffordshire, mid-19th Century, each standing leaning against a pile of books raided on a pedestal, octagonal titled bases, 11m.. inner damage to Shakespeare; also two Equestrian Figures, one of Colonel Bur nab, the other of The Prince of Wales’ (4).

    A LARGE STONEWARE VASE, Doulton, circa 1895. incised by Hannah Barlow, with a broad frieze of figures haymaking with horses and sheep between deep blue border* decorated with stylised leaves, mark. 44cm.; 17in., repair to rim.

    A PAIR OF PIERCED VASES,
    Grainger and Co., Worcester, circa 1890,
    each of footed pear form, intricately pierced
    with scrolling stylised foliage, brown printed
    shield factory mark, 19.5cm.; 73In, necks
    reduced (2).

    A PAIR OF ‘FLAMBE VEINED’
    VASES, Royal Doulton, early 20th Century,
    each of ovoid form, covered in a swirling
    mottled red and blue glaze, black printed
    marks, shape no. 1613, 16.5cm.; 6in.

    GREY WAGTAIL AND CELANDINE’. A BIRD MODEL, Royal Worcester, circa 1968, modelled by Dorothy Doughty, perched on a rock, mounted in a glass case, black printed marks and title, impressed numerals 59, 14.5cm.; 5in., some damage and restoration.

    A SET OF ELEVEN BONE CHINA PLATES, Spode, circa 1890-1900, each printed in iron-red with fleur-de-lys and arrow heads within a pendant border, scalloped gilt line rim, green printed mark, red painted, 23cm.; 9in. diam. (11).

    A GROUP OF STONEWARES, Royal Doulton, early 20th Century, comprising; a Model of a cockerel, 26cm.; 10in., repaired; a natural foliage’ ware Vase and Bowl; and two Jam Pots and Covers in the form of an apple and a pear (7).200

    An English porcelain Ointment Pot
    and Cover, circa 1830, of circular section,
    painted with flower sprays, the cover
    encrusted with a pink rose, very minor chips,
    4cm.; and a Group of Miniature
    Wares, 2nd quarter 19th Century, comprising: a
    Cup and Saucer painted with an Impair
    pattern, a pink ground Cup and Saucer and
    two circular Stands painted with flowers.

    An English porcelain Model of a poodle, circa 1840, modelled crouching on a tasselled rectangular base, a bone in its mouth, bone damaged, chip inside base, 11.5cm.; and a

    Staffordshire Model of a parrot, brightly coloured, perched on a moss sprigged stump; and a Continental pottery Model of a pug.

    A Coal brook dale porcelain Inkwell and Taper stick Cover, circa 1820—30, moulded and painted to simulate flower encrusted shell and coral, the base with an open well and shell

    dish flanked by two penholders, the cover with foliate taper holder and coral loop handle, painted in pale pink and green enamels picked out in gilding, minor chips and

    hair-cracks, under glaze-blue CD., 14cm.

    A part Toilet Set, circa 1900, each piece   of shaped square section, printed in blue and gilding with roses beneath lacy borders, comprising: Jug, Basin, Chamber Pot,

    Toothbrush Holder, Soap Dish, Cover and Drainer, and a larger Dish and Drainer, cracks to large drainer, blue printed rosette mark, jug 26cm.; 10-tin.

    A Wedgwood majolica Dish, 2nd half 19th Century, modelled as a naked cherub pulling out a large net, ail raised on a lozenge-shaped base glazed in tones of mottled green and

    brown, small chip to cherub’s foot, impressed WEDGWOOD and indistinct year code, 21cm.; long.

    A majolica Figure of a boy carrying a basket, circa 1870, probably Minton, the young lad wearing a purple jacket and yellow breeches carrying the large basket in front of him,

    raised on a mottled green glazed circular base, small chip to buff, basket damaged, painted ‘R’, 20.25cm.; 8in.

    An English porcelain Basket, 1830’s, of shaped oval form, on a low scroll moulded foot, the interior painted with a flower spray within a deep puce border, ail below foliate

    loop handle picked out in gilding, 14cm.

    A Wedgwood ’solid agate’ Game Pie
    Dish, Cover and Liner, 2nd quarter 19th
    Century, of oval form, the body moulded in
    relief with dead game amongst fruiting vine,
    the cover similarly decorated with crouching
    rabbit knops, chip and hair-crack to liner,
    impressed WEDGWOOD and indistinct year code,
    19cm.

    A Remiss cylindrical Vase, early
    20th Century, painted with pink cabbage
    roses beneath a green rim, chip and
    discolouration, impressed WEMYSS, painted
    T. Goode Co., 5cm.; 2in.; and a Group of
    Remiss-type Pottery, early  20th Century, each
    piece   painted with various fruit subjects,
    comprising: five cylindrical Pots, a
    Marmalade Pot, two Jugs, a Tizzy and a
    Bowl.

    A Staffordshire white salt glazed
    stoneware Sauceboat, mid-18th Century, the
    oval body with wavy rim on three lions’
    masks, set with greyhound
    handle, chips and hair-crack, 20.25cm.; 8in.
    long; also a Continental solid agate Plate, 19th
    Century; and a Dutch Delft Plate, 18th
    Century, decorated with stylised flowers.

    A Pair of Pariah Figures of
    classically-draped women, late
    19th Century, each modelled standing on a
    circular base, one holding a shell up to a bird
    perched on her Shoulder, the other holding a
    hat by her side, minor chips, impressed ,
    each 37cm.; 14in. approx.
    A majolica Garden Seat, circa 1870, probably Staffordshire, of Japanese inspiration, hexagonal section, decorated with six arched rectangular panels moulded in low relief with

    prunes against a blue ground, riveted, hair-crack, 45cm.

    A Minton ironstone Garden Seat, mid-19th Century, of hexagonal section and barrel form, printed in under glaze-blue and enamelled with a repeating pattern of Chinese motifs,

    moulded studs and pierced cash handles, minor chip and hair-crack, slight wear, 47cm.; 8in.

    A large majolica Jardiniere, late 19th Century, probably Staffordshire, the mottled green glazed bowl applied with two cherub busts terminating in lilac glazed drapery, pink

    glazed interior, head of one cherub restored, restored crack to bowl, 51cm.; 20in.

    A Pair of English porcelain Models
    of Dogs, circa 1840, each hound modelled
    seating facing to left or right, on a rocky gilt
    line base, their fur with liver and white
    markings, one with restored hair-cracks to base,
    the other with minor restoration to paws, 9cm.;
    3in.

    A George Jones majolica Salmon
    Dish and Cover, circa 1880, the base in the
    form of a shallow oval basket with pink
    glazed interior, the cover moulded with a
    scaly grey Fish lying on a bed of ferns, cover
    restored, restored chip to base, painted
    impressed registration diamond, 48cm.;
    19m.

    An oval black basalts Portrait Medallion, late 18th/early 19th Century, moulded in relief with a portrait bust of Josiah Wedgwood in profile to Dexter, 9.5cm.

    A Continental Clock and Movement, 1880’s, in Oriental style, the circular body applied with loop animal heads surmounted with a dog-of-For, decorated with a turquoise and black

    repeated foliate face, the sides with a green and black repeated motif, damaged and chipped teeth, glued ear and foot of stand, impressed factory mark, 42cm.; 16in.

    A Booths King George V and Queen
    Mary Coronation Beaker, 1911, printed and
    coloured with a portrait of the Royal couple,
    the reverse with the name BRY.ANSTON, cracked,
    10cm.; 4in.; and a Group of three enamel
    commemorative Beakers.

    A Grainger’s Worcester Mug, circa 1850-60, the cylindrical body painted with a
    rectangular panel depicting two greyhounds chasing a hare, with a gilt border, with gilt
    foliage either side, cracked and minor gilt rubbing, painted mark Grainger Co., Worcester,
    11.5cm.; 4in.

    A Pair of English porcelain Models
    of hounds, circa 1840, probably Samuel Adcock, each animal with liver and white markings
    reclining on a pale yellow rocky base with gilt rim, impressed numerals 115, each approx. 9cm.;
    3in. long.

    An English porcelain Pod of Peas,
    circa 1830, probably Coal port, the naturalistic
    green painted pod with one seam split to
    reveal the pale cream-coloured peas inside,
    minor chips at either end, 9cm.

    An English porcelain Model of a poodle, circa 1840, modelled crouching on a tasselled rectangular base, a bone in its mouth, bone damaged, chip inside base, 11.5cm.; and a

    Staffordshire Model of a parrot, brightly coloured, perched on a moss sprigged stump; and a Continental pottery Model of a pug.

    A Coal brook dale porcelain Inkwell and Taper stick Cover, circa 1820—30, moulded and painted to simulate flower encrusted shell and coral, the base with an open well and shell

    pine-cone finial, orange printed dog and harp mark, incised ‘P’, 14cm.
